Praying for the Church in October 2026
Each October, the Canberra Declaration sets aside 31 days as an intensified time of prayer and fasting.
This year, after prayer, careful consideration, we have chosen to dedicate October to praying for the awakening of the Church in Australia.
During the past several years, we have witnessed encouraging signs of revival, including in England, Wales, and the USA. We seek a mighty move of the Spirit in bringing revival as the Australian Church obeys its Great Commission mandate.
God responds to every individual’s prayer. But we are convinced that when the Church comes together and prays fervently in unity, there is extra favour from heaven.
This October, we have the opportunity to join with thousands of believers across Australia (and from other nations) in a strategic season of prayer and fasting. What a privilege!

Prayer Points for Awaken 2026
Join us as we pray and fast for the Church — the Body of Christ — to awaken to and fulfil her calling and mission. We are praying for the Church (Ekklesia) to:
1. Awaken to her first love for Jesus. (Ephesians 5:14; Revelation 2:4)
2. Awaken to evangelism so that millions will trust in Christ. (John 3:16; Proverbs 11:30)
3. Awaken to her prophetic voice to the nation. (Isaiah 52:1; Matthew 14:4)
Please join us throughout October as we pray, fast and seek God for the Church in our nation.
Pray Every Night on Zoom
Every night from 1–31 October, we will pray together online on Zoom. Join us at the following times:
From 1–3 October: 8 pm AEST; 7:30 pm ACST; 6 pm WA
From 4–31 October: 8 pm AEDT; 7:30 pm SA; 7 pm QLD; 6:30 pm NT; 5 pm WA
