Five4Five: Praying for Five and Sharing with Five Until Pentecost 2026
We know that we are called to share the gospel and disciple people every day of the year. As Hudson Taylor said:
“The Great Commission is not an option to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed.”
But as a part of the Reaching Australia 2033 commitment, the Canberra Declaration is calling for an intensified season of prayer and evangelism during the Easter to Pentecost period.
In collaboration with Finishing the Task and GO Movement (plus many other Christian organisations), Christians across the world are increasing their gospel witness during this special season celebrating Jesus Christ’s death, resurrection, ascension and sending the Holy Spirit.
The goal is to play our part in reaching one billion people with the message of God’s love in Jesus.
Each of us can reach someone.
And together, we can reach the world.
The “Five4Five” prayer call is simple: choose five people you know to pray for, and to seek to share the gospel with those five.

Here’s how you can be involved.
1. Sign Up for Daily Prayer Devotionals
To help you pray with faith and share with love, the Canberra Declaration will send a daily devotional straight to your inbox, beginning Monday, 20 April and concluding on Pentecost Day, Sunday, 24 May.
Each devotion is designed to inspire you with the love of God for the lost, equip you to pray boldly for your five people, and encourage you to take small steps of courage in sharing Jesus.

2. Pray Every Night Until Pentecost on 24 May
Every night from 12 April – 24 May, we will pray together on Zoom, beginning at 8 pm (AEST). These prayer times will encourage and equip you, as you join together with others to pray for ourselves and those who don’t yet know Jesus.
The three main prayer points are:
1. Five people to trust in Christ and to share the gospel with those five (Matthew 28:19–20).
2. Repentance, revival and reformation in Australia and for millions to believe in Jesus Christ (Luke 24:47).
3. A Church that grows in extravagant love for God and people (2 Corinthians 5:14–15).
These are not heavy, obligation-filled meetings. They are real, Spirit-empowered times of seeking God together — times of encouragement, equipping, and expectation.

3. Download and Share Free Five4Five 2026 Posters, Bookmarks and PowerPoint Slides
Free Five4Five resources are now available below to download and print. Please share them with your friends, family, church leaders and networks. Here’s some examples of how:
- Display the poster on church notice board and share it on social media.
- Place the bookmark in your Bible to help remind you to pray for your five people.
- Show the PowerPoint slide at churches and prayer gatherings.
