Join Us for GO Month in 2024!

Canberra Declaration is taking part in the GO 2024 global outreach initiative. And we want you to join us!

As believers, we know that we are called to evangelism and discipleship every day of the year. But during May, between Easter and Pentecost, we have the opportunity to join with millions across the world in an intensified season of evangelism. What a privilege!

We encourage you to pray for five people and reach out to them with the gospel. Why not ask your friends to do the same?

The goal is to play our part in reaching one billion people with the message of God’s love in Jesus. Each of us can do something – and together, we can reach the world.

Prayer Points for GO 2024

This May we are praying that God will move across our nation, bringing many to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We desperately need it. Without Jesus, there is no hope for Australia.

This year we are desiring:

1. To worship Jesus and give extravagant praise to God (1 Chronicles 16:23–31).
2. To pray for revival, repentance and deliverance for Australia and for millions to find Christ (Acts 2:1–41).
3. To pray for five people by name to find Christ and share the gospel with those five in May (Matthew 28:18–20).

Please join us throughout May as we pray and seek God for our neighbours and nation.

GO 2024 Official Launch: 29 April

Canberra Declaration will launch this year’s GO Month on Monday 29 April, with very special guests Ps Jeff Daly, Werner Nachtigal and John Robb. We are mightily blessed to be in partnership with people who love and serve the Lord! Join us on Zoom on Monday 29 April at 8 PM (AEST)!

Pray Every Night in May

Three Days of Prayer and Fasting for the USA: 30 April–2 May 2024

Our month in May kicked off with prayer and fasting for the USA. This time began with the USA National Day of Repentance (30 April) concluded with the USA National Day of Prayer on 2 May.

Canberra Declaration again partnered with Ps Jeff Daly, who leads the National Day of Repentance in the USA. We will pray that God moves powerfully across America. The USA has been the world’s largest Christian nation in history, sending out the greatest number of missionaries across the globe.

We believe prayer for America is necessary and strategic to God’s moving in the world today. In Ps Jeff Daly’s words, we want to “make America godly again”!

24 Hours of Prayer and Fasting for the USA: 2–3 May 2024

Continuous prayer for the USA will begin on Zoom at 8 PM (AEST) on 2 May and conclude at 9 PM (AEST), on Friday 3 May.

Psalm 8:2 says, “From the mouths of children and infants You have ordained praise on account of Your adversaries, to silence the enemy and the avenger.” Praise and worship brings a breakthrough – as does prayer. We would love you be a part of this historic time of prayer for revival, repentance and deliverance for the USA.

National Day of Prayer: Saturday 18 May

Halfway through May, we will celebrate the National Day of Prayer on Saturday 18 May 2024. We encourage people to rally churches and people to combine together with Christians in their area to organise prayer events from 10 AM – 4 PM to celebrate the day and pray for the nation. Watch as James Condon, leader of NDOP, explains this year’s theme, “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).
