More Information About GO 2023 in May Below

The Canberra Declaration is praying for and taking part in the GO 2023 global outreach initiative. We encourage you to pray and reach out to five people with the gospel and ask your friends to do the same. The goal is to play our part in reaching one billion people with the message of God’s love in JESUS. Each of us can do something and together we can reach the world.

We invite you to join with us in prayer and worship to glorify God. Our main mission is to pray for people to come to Christ, GO Month and for revival for Australia. We also want pray and fast for America, and to support the global call to Pray for Israel initiated by IHOPKC.

Pray Every Night in May

Every night in May we will have prayer on Zoom at 8pm from the 1–31 May and send out a daily devotion. Sign up at the bottom of this page!

GO Month 2023 Launch

The Canberra Declaration launched this year’s GO Month on Wednesday 26 April, with very special guests Ps Margaret Court, Ps Jeff Daly, Bruce and Cheryl Lindley, Mike Bickle and Charlotte Marandawela. Prayer and Fasting for the USA: 30 April–4 May 2023

Our month in May kicks off with prayer and fasting for the USA.

This time begins with the USA National Day of Repentance (30 April) and goes until the USA National Day of Prayer on 4 May.

Ten Days of 24/7 Prayer in May: 12–22 May

From the 12–22 of May, we will ramp up our prayer intensity and hold ten days of 24/7 prayer. We are calling this intense time of 24/7 prayer “Shift the Nation”. We will read the Holy Scriptures and celebrate communion. Over this period, we will hold a Bible reading marathon and read the Bible right through from Genesis to Revelation. We invite you to help us.

National Day of Prayer and Fasting

The end of May will climax with two major days. The first of these is the National Day of Prayer and Fasting for Australia on Saturday 27 May!

The Global Day of Prayer for Israel: 28 May

The second major day of prayer and fasting is on Sunday 28 May – a Global Day of Prayer for Israel. We will join with 100 Million Christians praying for the people of Israel to find Christ as their Lord and Saviour and for revival for the nation of Israel. Prayer Points and Purpose for GO 2023 in May

  1. To worship Jesus and give extravagant praise to God (Heb 12:28–29).
  2. Pray that the Lamb who was slain might receive the reward for His suffering (Rev 5:6–14).
  3. Pray for revival for Australia and for millions to find Christ (Isa 64:1–2).
  4. Pray for revival for Israel and millions to find Christ (Rom 10:1).
  5. Pray for five friends to find Christ and share the gospel with those five in May (Matt 28:18–20).
