Join Felicity and Nic Taylor in Prayer Walking for Australia
In one of the most extraordinary prayer initiatives we’ve seen in Australia, a young family from remote Western Australia is walking across the nation to cry out to God for Aussie salvations and spiritual renewal.
Felicity Taylor, her husband Nic, and their four children are currently trekking 2,500 kilometres through the heart of the nation — from Sturt Creek in the Kimberley to Yaraka in western Queensland.
Inspired by the Taylor family’s dedicated and sacrificial example, the Canberra Declaration has supported them throughout their journey.
But now we are calling Australian Christians to set aside one hour on a Saturday morning to prayer walk your own neighbourhood.
If Felicity Taylor can walk 2,500 km across Australia, we can walk for one hour on Saturdays! And thanks to Zoom, believers across the country can join Felicity and Nic as they walk and pray to God for a harvest of souls.
Watch the Taylors invite you to prayer walk with them to intercede for our nation.

“We want to see God move in Australia,” Felicity says.
“We don’t want to just sing about the greatness of God and miracles or just read about it, but we want to see it and we want to be part of it.”
Each day, Felicity walks between 20 and 25 kilometres through extreme temperatures and rugged terrain. Nic and the children join Felicity on sections of the walk, offering moral support and helping with the camp setup each evening.
“I think prayer is powerful, especially praying in locations like across the dry heart of Australia,” Felicity said.
“We want to see [Australia] restored to its Christian heritage.”
“We can not ignore the stirring in our hearts. The driving force of love to the people of Australia compels us past our own limits and beyond our comforts.”

The mission statement of the Canberra Declaration is to:
To awaken, encourage, educate, equip and unify people to pray and make a stand for Christian values for the greater good of all Australians.
A primary way we will see Australia’s Christian values revitalised is by seeing many come to faith in Jesus Christ. Our nation needs spiritual transformation.
As a result, the Canberra Declaration has supported the Taylor’s prayer walk across Australia for the salvation of Aussies from the beginning of their journey.
Now we are calling Australian Christians to set aside one hour on a Saturday morning and join with believers across the nation in prayer walking your own neighbourhood.
The Taylor family began their prayer journey on 20 April, and expect to finish in September.
