Breakthrough NSW 2023
Join with us as we hold a 24/7 Prayer & Worship vigil for NSW State Election. The election will be held on the 25 March 2023. The people of NSW like the rest of Australia have been through some very difficult times over the last few years.
We need to stand together with our brothers and sisters in Christ in NSW and believe together for a spiritual Breakthrough in the upcoming election on the 25 March.
So, this Prayer Call is called Breakthrough NSW and is made up of 25.5 hours of continuous Prayer, Praise & Worship from 7.30PM Friday 17 March to 9PM Saturday 18 March 2023.
John Donne the famous Christian poet said, “No man is an island.” Neither is any state.
What happens in one state will affect the other states. We need to pray for each other in our hour of need.
Sadly, the current NSW Liberal Government under the influence of dark forces within the party & culture passed late term abortion laws and more recently euthanasia. Their own corruption in their leadership helped destroy any vestige of popularity with their own supporters.
The current Liberal Government is even proposing draconian anti-conversion therapy laws to further restrict religious freedom in this already hard-pressed state.
According to the Christian Values Checklist the Labor Government is worse again. The polls indicate a likely win by Labor in the upcoming NSW election. Unfortunately, both the major parties Liberal & Labor are lurching to the dark side. This is causing increasing injustice in NSW.
Martin Luther King was right to say, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”
The story of King Jehoshaphat overcoming the invaders of ancient Israel by giving praise to God in the face of almost certain defeat gives us hope in our prayers. Not only hope but a scriptural foundation for our Breakthrough NSW prayer event.
“Then… Jahaziel the Levite said, ‘Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s… for the Lord is with you…’
And when he (Jehoshaphat) had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:
‘Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.’
Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.”
2 Chronicles 20:14-22
We need to support all the different prayer initiatives for Victoria at this time as best we can. We each have a different part of the wall to build in prayer.
The difference with this prayer call is that we ask all of Australia to join us in prayer for Victoria. We encourage Churches and prayer groups across Australia to also run their own prayer events for NSW over this time frame over the 17 & 18 March 2023.
We need a miracle of God. NSW needs revival. Australia needs revival and reformation.
Our nation is in desperate need of a sovereign outpouring of the Holy Spirit. That’s what we are praying for but on top of that we are praying for, a breakthrough in the upcoming NSW Election.

- Pray for Revival for NSW and for millions to find Christ. Isaiah 64:1-2
- Pray for a spiritual breakthrough in the NSW State Elections on 25 March. 2 Samuel 5:20
